Publications

I currently manage two blogs, hosted by Blogspot, one of them is the Fanboy Files, a general collection of musings about popular culture, and the other is Play To The Whistle, ramblings of my sports loving side.

For the past two years I have worked alongside Barry Fox and the Patriot News’ GO! section blogging for the Millennium Music Conference. Below are links to some examples.

In addition to my blogs I have been published in the Lancaster Intellegencer Journal in both the Saturday Edition and the Happenings Section, as well as La Vie Collegienne.

You can also read my review of the Anthony Lattanze Band's CD, Digging Up the Past for Up and Coming Days, on iTunes.

My first sports page for La Vie: This was my first attempt at layout with Adobe InDesign. The big story that week was our sophomore sensation running back, Charlie Parker. The skybox was my idea, and the mast head adds a little more visual stimulation on weeks where I didn't have such a great picture to work with. I would use this same set up on a couple different occasions throughout the rest of the year.

This is the layout that won me the PNA award. Using Photoshop, I created the image by combining and croping about six different pictures of our field hockey team. I wanted to try to highlight some of the key players that were responsible for the incredible season the team was having. I only wish I could have found better pictures of everyone on the team.

Here are some other layouts I did throughout the year. More to come later.
